Sima Fried

Senior Analyst

Sima joined Galileo eager to merge her extensive experience in healthcare market research with her love of strategy and storytelling.  Before joining Galileo, Sima managed multi-method physician and patient market research across North America, Europe, and Asia. She has worked across therapeutic areas — with a particular focus on oncology and immunology. Her experience also spans categories outside of healthcare including technology, home improvement, and not-for-profit.

Sima holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and is experienced across qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Her unique background in archaeology also allows her to incorporate innovative analytics, such as geospatial analysis, to add dimension to strategic insights. From digging in the dirt to digging into motivations, she continuously pursues what lies beneath the surface of each project in pursuit of the ‘why’. Additionally, she constantly looks for ways to make data and insights more accessible and engaging across stakeholders and knows the power of a good story. This often leads to delightful “extras” in her deliverables such as multimedia integration and curated metaphors.

Outside work you will find Sima reading a book (or two), hiking with friends, or crocheting.
